ROCCAT Studios, well known for its gaming series peripherals, has just made available a new and improved gaming device that rebuilds the original KAVE headset, namely the Kave XTD 5.1 Digital. In addition to that, along with this release the producer has also outed its driver – version 1.19.

The newly released sound device and its 1.19 driver are compatible with both bit architectures of Microsoft’s Windows Vista, 7, and 8 operating systems, as well as with the latest Windows 8.1 platform. They are also suitable for the 32-bit variant of Windows XP.

As for the changes that this update brings, version 1.19 implicitly enables the EQ feature at startup and also changes its default settings in order to improve the audio quality.

When it comes to installing this release, simply get and expand the downloadable archive, run the “Setup.exe” file from within the newly created folder (the executable will automatically recognize the system’s characteristics), and follow the on-screen instructions.

That being said, download ROCCAT Kave XTD Headset Driver 1.19, apply it, and stay “updated one minute ago.”
