Despite the fact that we were somehow expecting a CAP2 to keep things going on with the Catalyst 12.2 display drivers, AMD has decided it was time to change things, and here's CAP1 for the latest release of the drivers.

AMD Catalyst Application Profiles 12.3 CAP1 brings support for the latest CrossFireX profiles and comes in a separate exe file that gives the users complete control over their installations. This new version of the CAP comes with enhanced performance for several new gaming titles and is intended for both single-GPU and multiple graphic cards arrays.

FireFall gets a fix for the corruption occurring when users would enable Anti-Aliasing through the Catalyst Control Center in single-GPU configurations. Full-screen corruption used to occur in Ridge Racer Unbounded in the same single-GPU scenario, and things seem to have been fixed.

Generic CrossFire improvements are to be expected with Test Drive Unlimited 2, while Dirt 3 finds a solution for correcting the image corruption detected in some particular scenes, with CrossFire enabled. Finally, Stacking is also on the fix list, with improved image quality when the Anti-Aliasing option is enabled through the CCC on single-GPU computers.
