Just now, Dovado has made available a new firmware update targeted at its routers, namely version 7.2.3 compatible with the Tiny, Pro, Go, and Doma devices, which includes a few changes that improve the units’ overall performance and stability.

Specifically speaking, this newly-released version resolves several USB modem connection issues, sets dynu.com as a Dynamic DNS provider, and adds status messages on Dynamic DNS page.

In addition to that, position reality checks are added, Megafon M100-4 4G USB modem is now supported, and the GPS position feature is fixed.

When it comes to applying this release, simply get the proper package for your Dovado router model, extract the archive, and log into the device’s web interface.

Now, go to Upgrade → HTTP Upgrade, click the “Browse” button, navigate and select the newly-extracted firmware file, and click “Start HTTP Upgrade.” At this point, the update is transferred to the router and, when the upload is complete, the installation process is initiated.

This task should take about 3 minutes, so make sure you don’t interrupt the transfer or power off the device during the upgrade. Doing so will result in an update failure, which can cause the router to malfunction.

That being said, download Dovado Firmware 7.2.3 for your specific device model, take into account all above-mentioned aspects, and apply the latest firmware on your device.
