Just now, Dovado has rolled out the 7.2.7 firmware package compatible with its Tiny, Pro, Go, and Doma routers, which resolves several issues regarding compatibility with some USB modems.

Specifically speaking, the new release fixes various connection problems with ZTE’s MF93D and MF190 modems, as well as with Sierra’s AC760S and AC745S devices, and resolves the failover issue encountered in connection tracker.

In addition to that, version 7.2.7. updates support for Huawei’s E398 through new T-Mobile firmware for all targeted routers, resolves the problems with SMS command status for LIM modems, and fixes the server TLS authentication errors encountered while trying to send emails.

Moreover, the present firmware resolves several network preference bugs spotted while using some Huawei devices, and also adds support for the E3131-H2 3G and E3272 (Airtel) 4G USB modems.

When it comes to installing this release, simply get and extract the appropriate archive for your router model, log to its web user interface (username and password might be required), and go to Upgrade > HTTP Upgrade section.

Now click the “Browse” button, navigate and select the firmware package (.bin file format) from the newly created folder, click “Start HTTP Upgrade,” and wait for about 3 minutes in order for the update to be successfully applied.

That being said, download Firmware 7.2.7 for Dovado Router, take into account all aforementioned aspects, apply the latest version on the device, and enjoy the new changes that this latest update brings about.
