After the release of Firmware 7.2.5 for Dovado Routers, the producer has made available a new firmware update targeted at its wireless devices, namely version 7.2.6, which resolves connection issues encountered in ZTE MF823 data cards with newer software versions.

This newly released version is to be applied on Dovado’s Tiny, Pro, Go, and Doma wireless routers, and can be installed either manually through the devices’ web interface, or automatically using a firmware update utility (available for both Windows and Mac operating systems).

In order to be clear, if the manual upgrade method is desired, then get and extract the appropriate downloadable archive for your router model, log into the device’s web interface, and go to Upgrade → HTTP Upgrade section.

Now, navigate and select the newly-extracted firmware file (.bin format), click on the “Start HTTP Upgrade” button, and wait about 3 minutes for the process to complete.

On the other hand, if you intend to use the update utility, simply download the one compatible with both your router model and the system OS, run the setup, and follow the instructions displayed on-screen. Also, the utility might require you to enter the password.

That being said, from the links below, follow the one that best suits your Dovado router, click on the download that describes the desired upgrade method, and apply the latest firmware version on your device.
