Intel has released two new BIOS packages for two of its desktop boards, namely the 0101 and 0017 versions for the DH77EB and DZ75ML-45K boards, respectively.

For each board, the packages resolve the issue with the 23.976 Hz video files that would show as 24.001 Hz, updates the CPU support, and resolves the Integrator Toolkit issue that might stop when used on a Windows 8 32-bit platform.

Separately from the DH77EB, the DZ75ML-45K board has fixed the Line In (blue) and Mic In (pink) back panel audio connectors that sometimes could not be re-tasked.

The download record provides two OS-independent files, namely the Recovery (used when the BIOS update crashes) and Iflash (used to update the BIOS regardless of the OS) BIOS update packages.

Another two Windows-based files are available, which describe the Express BIOS update method and are compatible only with the XP, 7, and 8 platforms (one for each bit-version).

It is also good to know that the BIOS update should be done only if the new version specifically solves a problem that you are encountering, and downgrading BIOS is not recommended and may not be supported.

Moreover, you should manually save all BIOS settings so that they can be restored after the upgrade, and if the update process crashes, the computer might not work properly any more.

Now, follow one of the links below depending on the board you own, and from the list, choose the one that best describes your desired update method.
