Pioneer has released today a new firmware package developed for its DJM-900SRT Serato DJ Edition mixer, namely version 1.10, which improves the device’s performance when used with the latest Serato DJ software.

The firmware adds Quantize and Fader Start functions when using the DJM-900SRT with Serato DJ, and resolves a noise issue that was heard in the mixer’s USB audio input and output port.

Moreover, the problem where the MIDI Snapshot (all messages except the MIDI Start and MIDI Stop) was displayed when connecting the mixer to Serato DJ, as well as the one where MIDI message for Fader Start wasn’t properly sent, are now resolved.

As for the packages, there are two separate download records available: one compatible with both 32- and 64-bit variants of Microsoft’s Windows XP, Vista, 7, and 8 operating systems, and the other one developed to work under the MAC platform.

If you consider installing this version, make sure your read and follow all the instructions provided in the DJM-900SRT Firmware Update Manual [PDF] containing upgrade methods for each of the supported OSes.
