14 DAY TRIAL // A few moments ago, Creative released a new driver package targeted at its Sound BlasterAxx speaker series, namely version 1.01.09, which adds support for both 32- and 64-bit architectures of Microsoft’s Windows 8.1 operating system.
In addition to that, the present update also maintains compatibility with Microsoft’s Windows Vista, 7, and 8 platforms, both bit variants, and can be used along with the producer’s Sound BlasterAxx SBX 8, SBX 10, SBX 20, and AXX 200 speakers.
If applied, the package installs the Sound BlasterAxx Control Panel that provides users with several configuration options that help improve the products’ overall performance and stability.
With this in mind, if you intend to install this release, simply ensure that your system configuration suits Creative’s update, save the proper downloadable package for your device model, and make sure that the speaker is connected to the computer.
Now run the .exe file, wait for all the needed files to be extracted, and follow the instructions displayed on-screen for a complete and successful installation. Also, upon completion, manually restart the computer if the wizard doesn’t request a system reboot – this ensures that all changes take effect properly.
