Just now, Creative has made available a new driver builds developed for its Sound Blaster Tactic3D Rage wireless headset, namely versions 1.02.0010 and 1.03.24 compatible with Windows and Mac operating systems, respectively.

In order to be clear, while the 1.02.0010 package is to be applied on computers running Microsoft’s Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8, and 8.1 platforms, either 32- and 64-bit variants, the 1.03.24 driver is targeted at Mac OS X 10.6 and above.

The newly-released updates contain both driver Sound Blaster Tactic3D control panel and Rage driver, and add support for the producer’s “Scout Mode” feature that allows users to hear their enemies from a greater distance than before, therefore giving them an additional advantage within the game.

However, bear in mind that this new feature isn’t available if the system is running Microsoft’s Windows XP platform.

When it comes to installing this release, simply get the suitable package for your computer operating system, run the available setup, and follow the on-screen instructions for a complete and successful upgrade.

In addition to that, upon completion, don’t forget to perform a reboot to ensure that all changes take effect properly.

That being said, from the links below, follow the one that describes the appropriate operating system, take into account all aforementioned aspects, and update your headset driver to the latest version.

[Update, 07/17] A few moments ago, the producer has also rolled out the same driver versions compatible with its Sound Blaster Tactic3D Rage USB Headset.
