14 DAY TRIAL // To further fuel the Catalyst frenzy that started last month, AMD has released another set of drivers, this time for Microsoft’s latest operating system, Windows 8. It’s in Preview stage, but ready for users to test on systems that feature AMD graphic cards.
With the release of Windows 8 in September, it is expected that all major players will provide compatible drivers. Advanced Micro Devices is the first to do this.
Only two graphic card series, AMD Radeon HD 5000 and 6000, are supported by the latest Catalyst drivers, but I’m sure many will follow. As far as architectures goes, the drivers cover x86 and x64 too.
