Buffalo has outed a new firmware package targeted at its TeraStation 3000 NAS series, namely version 1.13, which is compatible with the TS3200D, TS3400D, and TS3400R network storages.

The producer has provided two downloadable packages, one suitable for Mac OS X 10.4 or later systems and the other targeted at Microsoft’s Windows XP, Vista, 7, and 8 OSes (both 32- and 64-bit variants), as well as its Server 2000, 2003, 2008, and 2012 platforms.

When it comes to changes, this new release modifies the messages on the LCD display, fixes the Direct Copy failure when performed from a digital camera in PTP mode, allows to record a deleting-user event, and improves various user interface texts.

In addition to that, the access problems regarding the limited folder have been resolved, the NTP settings can now be changed even when the surveillance server is enabled, and the users can be imported from a CSV file into the “HDUsers” group without any further problems.

Moreover, the 1.13 update also includes several other fixes and changes regarding backup and replication, Amazon S3, network, FTP and FTPS, USB, and email notification, which you can check on the description page of each downloadable file.

Last but not least, if you intend to apply this version, simply save the proper archive for your NAS model, extract it, and precisely follow the instructions provided within. Bear in mind that an update failure can cause serious device malfunctions.

That being said, download Buffalo TS3000 NAS Series Firmware 1.13, familiarize yourself with the update procedure, and apply the latest firmware on your network-attached storage.
