Broadcom has updated several LAN drivers developed for all of its Ethernet controllers, which add support for both 32- and 64-bit variants of Microsoft’s latest operating system, namely the Windows 8.1 platform.

To be clearer, Broadcom has outed version 16.2.2.9 targeted at its NetXtreme II 1 Gigabit (5706, 5708, 5709, and 5716) and 10 Gigabit (57710, 57711, 57711E, 57712, 57800, and 57810) controllers.

In addition to that, version 16.2.0.4b is compatible with both NetXtreme (5752, 57760, 57761, and 57765) and NetLink (5781, 5786, 5787, 5788, and 5789) Ethernet devices, but the NetLink package is suitable only for Microsoft’s Windows Vista OS (both bit variants).

Moreover, the NetLink 5784, 5785, 57780, 57781, 57785, 57790, and 57795 controllers can be updated to version 15.6.0.10, the package being compatible with all of Microsoft’s platforms, except for Windows XP.

That being said, from the links below, follow the one that best describes your Broadcom controller, and update its driver to the latest version.
