Good news for all Adata SSD users: new firmware has been released for the S510 and S511 drives, no matter whether you have the small 60GB ones, or the hefty 480GB versions. All the S510/ 511 series has received improved firmware which promises better performance and less worries.

With the old firmware, some hangs have been reported after resuming from slumber mode; this issue resulted in blue screens if the drive was set as the primary boot device.

The 3.3.2 firmware solves this problem, while at the same time addressing an S3/ S4 cycling problem and some identification irregularity concerning the APM.

After downloading the specific firmware for their SSDs, users must run the ADATA_FieldUpdater.exe file as Administrator and then update to version 3.3.2. Adata stresses that users who have experienced blue screen errors should update their firmware as soon as possible. No support for Apple computers has been annunced for this version of the firmware, sorry.

Please choose the suitable version for your Adata S510/ S511 SSD Firmware 3.3.2.
