14 DAY TRIAL // Well-known case make BitFenix has announced on its official website that it's upgrading its cases to offer USB 3.0 connection on the front panel.
The three cases, part of BitFenix’s upgrade initiative, are the Colossus Window, Shinobi and Shinobi Window models.
The new front-panel configurations are: two USB 3.0 ports and two USB 2.0 ports for the standard Shinobi model along with the Shinobi Window model and the Colossus Window.
The USB 3.0 standard, also called SuperSpeed USB, offers speeds of up to 5 Gb/s that will satisfy the transfer speed requirements of any USB 3.0 enclosed hard disk drive.
We like the company’s initiative of improving on what’s good, tried and tested instead of launching a plethora of new products with higher prices and lose sight of what’s important just to make their products look “brand new” or “on the edge”.
