If you're in search of a motherboard to build up a new computer and are into Intel CPUs, but are not willing to fork out massive amounts of cash, you should take a look at Asrock's H61M-PS2.

This Intel H61-based motherboard brings a lot of nice handy features to let you enjoy both gaming and no-nonsense productivity, while doing this without leaving a burning hole in your budget. You can still load Intel Core 2nd and 3rd generation CPUs on this board and a maximum of 16 GB of DDR3 memory spread over 2 dual-channel DIMM slots.

The microATX design of the H61M-PS2 will fit nicely in small cases and thus you'll also save some room. You may wish to stick with the graphics embedded in your SandyBridge CPU or can use the PCIe slots to add a display adapter of choice.

5.1-channel HD audio is delivered using a VIA chip that supports the THX TruStudio specs and it will be a nifty complement for your high-definition multimedia. Along with the UEFI BIOS, the Asrock H61M-PS2 comes bundled with a lot of handy software tools to help you tweak the board's components' performance and enjoy a richer experience.

You can download BIOS, drivers and utilities for the Asrock H61M-PS2 for free, as always.
