After releasing version 16.1.1 a couple of days ago, Intel now makes the PROSet/Wireless software and drivers version 16.1.3 targeted at only 3 of its WiFi adapters available.

Specifically speaking, this version is targeted at end-users who do not need advanced IT administrator tools, and who own one of Intel’s Wireless-N 7260, Dual Band Wireless-N 7260, or Dual Band Wireless-AC 7260 WiFi devices.

The release consists of 4 files for each of Microsoft’s Windows 7 and 8 compatible OSes (both 32- and 64-bit versions), which provide both drivers-only and drivers-with PROSet/Wireless WiFi software for each bit architecture.

This latest version doesn’t come with any changelog. However, Intel emphasizes that Wireless Display users should first uninstall the WiDi feature, apply the PROSet/Wireless package, and only after that install back the WiDi software.

That being said, follow the link below, and from the list, choose the one that best describes both your system’s characteristics (OS and bit-architecture) and desired package.
