ASUS has just rolled out a new firmware version developed for its DSL-AC68R and DSL-AC68U wireless routers, namely version 3.0.0.4.376.2050, which comes only a week after releasing the previous ASUS DSL-AC68 Firmware 3.0.0.4.376.2049.

When it comes to changes, this package updates once more the DSL firmware and driver to versions 1.0.1.5 and 5.5.1.124, respectively (from 1.0.1.4 and 5.5.1.20), and can be applied regardless of the operating system powering your computer.

In addition to that, the newly released firmware fixes some issues regarding the VDSL/ADSL Line Attenuation. Also, even through a related problem was resolved within the previous software version, ASUS’ update removes the ADSL Annex B data rate errors encountered with certain DSLAM.

Moreover, build 376.2049 also resolves the sync failure problems spotted in Annex mode “Annex B/J/M” with DSL modulation “G.Dmt” settings.

With this being said, if you intend to benefit from these changes, then save and extract the proper downloadable archive for your AC1900 router model, and make sure that the gigabit device is connected to the computer through an Ethernet cable (wireless technology tends to disconnect randomly).

Afterwards, log into the unit’s administration page, go to the firmware section, and select the newly extracted .trx file, and wait for the new update to be transferred and installed on the router.

Therefore, download ASUS DSL-AC68 Router Firmware 3.0.0.4.376.2050, take into account all the aforementioned aspects, and upgrade your device to the latest software version.
