14 DAY TRIAL // After Transformer Pad Infinity TF700T has been updated, ASUS has released a new firmware version 5.0.4.12 for the Transformer Pad Infinity TF700KL.
The new package installs the Android 4.1.1 OS on the Eee Pad tablet, and may also bring improvements to the device’s overall performance, although no official change log is provided.
What is known, though, is that the update process isn’t capable of doing SKU conversion or downgrade version. Moreover, if the wrong SKU is installed, this may result into update failure that could cause malfunction or irreversible damage to the device.
So, firstly you must know your SKU (stock keeping unit). For that, go to Settings, select About Table, and afterwards the Build Number option.
From there you should be able to read the SKU that consists of the first two or three letters of the build number (namely the letters before the underscore line).
