ASUS has just unveiled a new firmware update developed for its MeMO Pad FHD 10 tablet, namely version 5.0.11, which consists of several download records compatible with a specific SKU only.

As for the changes that this release should make, the producer didn’t provide any changelog whatsoever, but I can assume that, if applied, ASUS’ update might improve the device’s overall performance and stability.

When it comes to installing this package, first you should know that the update process isn’t capable of installing an earlier firmware version or a different SKU than the one already installed – so make sure you download the suitable package for you tablet’s characteristics.

Therefore, in order to get the correct package that will successfully install the Android 4.3 OS on your device, go to Settings → About Tablet → Build Number, make sure the currently installed firmware isn’t newer or the same with the one you are about to install, and remember the SKU (first two letters).

Now, download ASUS MeMO Pad FHD 10 Firmware 5.0.11 for the SKU you have just read from the build number, apply the package to the device, find out what the changes are, and stay “updated one minute ago.”
