ASRock has released a new BIOS version for its X79 Extreme11 motherboard. This update improves PCI-e compatibility.

As usual, the BIOS comes in three versions (Windows, DOS and Instant Flash) hoping to make the update process as simple as possible for everyone.

ASRock recommends using the “Instant Flash” utility from the factory installed BIOS combined, of course, with the appropriate update version.

When it comes to the X79 Extreme11 motherboard, the first thing that flashes out from the huge features list is its 4-way SLI/CrossFireX at PCIe 3.0 x16 speed.

This will support four NVIDIA GeForce GTX 690 or even GTX Titan cards as well as AMD's Radeon HD 7990.

Other amazing features are the eight SAS2/SATA3 ports, providing transfer rates of up to 3.8 GB/s through 8 SSDs in RAID 0 mode as well as the dual LAN ports with Teaming function, for twice the transmission bandwidth.

That being said, download the BIOS from the link below. Flash it and stay “updated one minute ago.”
