Today, ASRock has outed new BIOS packages developed for its Pro4 motherboard models, namely version 1.90, 2.00, and 2.10 targeted at the B85M Pro4, H87M Pro4, and Z87M Pro4 devices, respectively.

As for the changes made through these updates, the newly released BIOS versions add a “USB Compatibility Patch” option in the BIOS’ setup menu.

When it comes to installing the files, there are 3 available methods, namely Windows, DOS, and Instant Flash, which you can use depending on your preference.

However, updating the BIOS isn’t recommended if the system is running fine and no problems are encountered, or even if there are some issues that bother you but the newer version doesn’t specifically resolve them.

Moreover, the BIOS upgrade process must be performed in a stable power environment, because if the update crashes, your board might suffer serious damage.

That being said, download BIOS 1.90 for ASRock B85M Pro4, download BIOS 2.00 for ASRock H87M Pro4, or download BIOS 2.10 for ASRock Z87M Pro4 (depending on which board you own), apply the new version, and stay “updated one minute ago.”
