ASRock has recently released new BIOSes for its E350M1, E35LM1 and E35LM1 R2.0 motherboards. The common fix for these products is the new and updated CIR code, which is also the only change for the E350M1.

These releases offer the E35LM1 an update to the UEFI LAN driver, while for the E35LM1 R2.0, it changes the Internet Flash server and updates the PXE (Preboot Execution Environment) code.

The update comes in the usual three formats: for Windows, DOS or Instant Flash. ASRock recommends using the last one, due to its fail-proof nature.

Download the package suited for your motherboard and unzip it. Next, restart your machine and enter BIOS by pressing F2 at the POST (Power-On Self-Test).

In the “Smart” tab, select “ASRock Instant Flash” to start the utility. It will automatically detect the BIOS files from all devices attached, such as HDD, USB or floppy.

Select the suitable file and flash. When the installation finishes, the system restarts.
