Today, ASRock has released new BIOS packages targeted at some of its motherboards, namely versions 1.30, 1.60, 2.10, 2.30, and 2.60 compatible with the H97M-ITX/ac, FM2A78 Pro4+, FM2A75 Pro4+, FM2A88X Extreme4+, and FM2A55 Pro+ boards, respectively.

When it comes to changes, these newly outed versions add support for Intel’s Pentium G3258 CPU and for AMD’s Athlon IIx4 860K processor, and updates the microcode, Agesa code, and Instant Flash Module.

In addition to that, ASRock’s latest releases include support for Target TDP on FM2+ APUs, adjust shared memory settings, modify the option string in Panel Type Selection, and set the UUID auto to MAC address for the first network interface controller.

However, bear in mind that not every one of the changes applies to each of the compatible motherboards. Make sure to check the release notes on the description page to view the specific changes that will be made if the BIOS is updated to the latest version.

As for installing these releases, the producer has provided 3 different packages for each targeted device that describe 3 update methods: Instant Flash, DOS, and Windows procedures – so make sure that you download the appropriate package.

With this in mind, from the links below, follow the one that best describes your motherboard and desired update method, and update your BIOS to the latest version.
