14 DAY TRIAL // ASRock has recently released BIOS version 1.60 for its Z87 OC Formula and Z87 OC Formula/ac, along with the 1.50 update for the Z87M OC Formula
The three new releases share the changelog, with the manufacturer saying that these new BIOSes have an updated CPU code as well as improved overclocking capability.
The motherboards are targeted at overclockers with their 12 Power Phase design and Premium Alloy Chokes. Add to that the digital PWM (Pulse-Width Modulation) and Multiple Filter Cap (MFC), and you have a sturdy board ready for oveclocking.
If you are not such an OC enthusiast, other features that might interest you could be the A-Style set. This consists of Home Cloud, Conformal Coating, Purity Sound and HDMI-In. If you pick to use the Z87 OC Formula/ac, you must add the 802.11a/b/g/n/ac WiFi connection.
