AMD has just rolled out Catalyst graphics driver 14.11.1 beta, which has been developed especially for delivering high-quality gameplay experiences while playing Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare and Assassin's Creed Unity.

Bear in mind that this version is only compatible with Microsoft’s 64-bit variants of Windows 7 and 8.1 platforms. Moreover, this update is still a beta release and it’s provided “AS IS,” therefore AMD cannot be held responsible for any related damage.

Even if no serious problems should appear, you can still use the AMD Issue Reporting Form for any improper behavior encountered as a result of this update.

When it comes to supported devices, AMD’s 14.11.1 Catalyst driver can be applied on desktops powered by a compatible OS and which include a Radeon graphics card that belongs to one of the R7 200, R9 200, HD 7000, or HD 8000 product series.

As for notebooks, these devices can only make use of the present release if they are helped by one of AMD’s R5 M200, R7 M200, R9, M200, HD 7000M, and HD 8000M series cards, or by the Radeon E8860 embedded GPU.

Last but not least, if you are curious about the currently unresolved known issues or simply want to check out the complete changelog, you can always check the “Release Notes” button below.
