AMD has just outed a new Catalyst graphics driver, namely version 13.11 beta 1, which basically adds support for the newest devices from its graphics cards line-up, and only for the desktop configurations.

Specifically speaking, version 13.11 beta 1 is compatible with AMD’s Radeon R9 280X and R9 270X, as well as the R7 260X, 250, and 240 cards.

As for the suitable operating systems, AMD’s driver is developed to work under Microsoft’s Windows 7 and 8 platforms. In addition to that, the Microsoft’s latest OS, namely Windows 8.1, is also supported by this release.

In addition to that, don’t ignore the fact that this new Catalyst is only a beta version, therefore it’s provided “AS IS” and AMD doesn’t take credit for any related damages that might occur.

However, because the producer’s goal is to provide a stable version, its team has provided an Issue Reporting Form for you to provide feedback.

That being said, if you have one of AMD’s latest graphics cards, download the new Catalyst, and start playing.
