14 DAY TRIAL // AMD has recently launched a new Catalyst graphics driver for embedded APU and GPU. Version 13.151 is compatible only with Windows 7 and 8, on both 32 and 64 bit architectures.
This release is aimed at AMD's E6760, E6460, R-Series, G-Series SOC, G-Series, Radeon HD 6970M and Radeon HD5770 products.
The documentation or release notes are nowhere to be found and, inside the archive, there are no hints of changes or fixes for this update.
However, the package contains AMD HD audio driver 8.0.0.8813 (for Windows 8) and 7.12.0.7716 (for Windows 7), as well as version 5.12.0.0015 of the SMBus inf files.
Since it's a Catalyst, it contains an update for the graphics chip as well. Therefore, this package installs display driver 13.151.0.0000 along the previously mentioned chipset updates.
To install, download the file from the link below and extract it. Launch “setup.exe” and follow the instructions provided by the installation wizard. When it all completes, restart your machine.
