AMD has just rolled out its 14.301.1019 FirePro Unified Graphics driver developed for certain workstation video cards, which is compatible with both 32- and 64-bit variants of Microsoft’s Windows 7, 8, and 8.1 operating systems.

To be clearer, this release can be applied on configurations that include a FirePro 3D, APU, MultiView, or Server series GPU, FireStream graphics card series, as well as Radeon SKY device series.

However, bear in mind that this update’s compatibility list includes most of the aforementioned series lineup, but some older models might not be compatible, especially those that support at most Windows 7 OSes.

Since AMD doesn’t provide any changelog whatsoever, I can only assume that this release brings performance, as well as stability and usability improvements. Still, you have to apply it to find out yourself what the changes really are.

When it comes to the package content, the downloadable executable will install the display driver, OpenCL Runtime , DisplayPort and HDMI audio drivers, as well as AMD’s Catalyst Pro Control Center.

In addition to that, update 14.301.1019 also contains installation files such as for USB 3.0 host controller, USB 3.0 hub, USB filter, AHCI, RAID, and SMBus drivers (different versions for each compatible OS).

As for the installation process, simply save and run the executable, wait for all required files to be extracted, and follow all instructions displayed on-screen for a complete update. Also, once finished, make sure to allow the wizard to perform a system reboot to ensure that all changes take effect.

That being said, download AMD FirePro Unified Driver 14.301.1019, apply it on your system, and don’t hesitate to tell us about any possible improvements. Also, constantly check our website in order to stay “updated one minute ago.”
