After releasing the AMD Catalyst Graphics Driver 14.4 Beta RC, the producer has just made available a stable Catalyst build, namely version 14.4 WHQL, which brings the same modifications as its previous release.

Specifically speaking, all changes made by the beta RC update, such as support for AMD’s Radeon R9 295X card, new OpenGL 4.4 extensions, as well as several performance improvements for numerous games, are now a solid fact.

This fresh update includes the Catalyst display driver and Catalyst control center version 14.10.1006, installs the Southbridge and IXP drivers, and can be applied on both 32- and 64-bit architectures of Microsoft’s Windows 7, 8, and 8.1 operating systems.

In addition to that, AMD has also outed an XP-compatible package that contains the 9.00.100 graphics driver version and can be installed on both bit variants.

To upgrade your desktop or notebook to this version, simply get the downloadable package, run the executable, click the “Install” button, and wait for all needed files to be extracted. When the install manager appears, select the language and follow the on-screen instructions.

After the upgrade has completed, perform a system reboot to ensure that all changes take effect properly.

That being said, download AMD Catalyst Graphics Driver 14.4 for the proper OS, apply the package, and enjoy your newly-updated system.
