14 DAY TRIAL // It hasn't been long since we wrote we were expecting something new from AMD, expecially after the Performance Drivers 11.11a and 11.11b were released. The rumors were true, and here we are in front of a new leaked driver from AMD: a new version of the 11.12 Beta 8.93.
Despite bearing the same name, the new leak comes with the packaging version 111122a while the previous one had the 111118a code. All the components in the new beta driver have upgraded versions, as follows: the new 2D driver is now 8.01.01.1223, compared to the old one, 8.01.01.1223.
The Direct3D went from 7.14.10.0883 to 7.14.10.0885, while the 6.14.10.11384 OpenGL driver is now 6.14.10.11385. Finally, the Catalyst Control Center evolved from 2011.1118.1246.22742 to 2011.1122.2019.36371.
The new AMD Catalyst 11.12 Beta 8.83 is available for Windows Vista and 7 only, both 32-bit and 64-bit versions, but it's to be expected that support for Windows XP will also be available in an official release of the driver. We'll keep you informed as new drivers surface.
