As we were estimating in the last piece of news, AMD were really busy these days with the  December display drivers, the 11.12 release. Now, you can download these drivers optimized for notebooks, and start enjoying better graphics.

There are quite a lot of fixes in this release and if you're interested in finding them all, just check the download page for the AMD Catalyst Mobility Display Driver 11.12.

We'll just note some of the highlights of the current version: AMD's HD3d technology is now supported when using a 3x1 Landscape Eyefinity display group, and official support has been announced for OpenGL 4.2.

Of course, a lot of problems with various games seem to have been solved, for both older and the newest titles, under Windows 7 and Vista. We're really dying to see whether the 11.12 release will receive a heap of fixes and "specialty" new editions; AMD have issued a rather unusually large amout of drivers lately and we're not that sure if this is a good or a bad thing.
