14 DAY TRIAL // We're glad to announce our readers the new RC display driver newly released by AMD, now bearing the name 12.3 RC.
This time the files are coming from AMD directly so no third-party hosting or repacking is involved. This somehow promises a higher degree of stability. The RC tag means there's no WHQL certification for the moment and most likely the Microsoft approval seal will be attached during the next month, with the release of the final version of the Catalyst 12.3.
The 12.3 RC is bundled with all the updates that can be found in 12.1, but it also brings some new stuff. Better EyeFinity 2.1 technology performance, a larger EyeFinity resolutions list to choose from, and better support for Dynamic Configuration Changes (DCC).
The DCC technology allows your system to automatically detect a display when plugged in and perform config changes. The HydraVision now allows you to move and resize the Windows task bar and more display groups settings are available, including 5x1.
