AGP card owners can still use them with the new display drivers

If you've owned AGP graphic cards and used to install new drivers often, then we'd assume you're quite familiar with the "No compatible hardware found" error; and the fact that the Catalyst Hotfixes are the solution for this problem should be no groundbreaking news.

The real news is that we've got Catalyst Hotfixes for the 12.3 revision of AMD's display drivers and this additional software has been designed for both XP and the Vista/ Windows 7 platforms, 332 and 64-bit distributions.

The error described above is most likely to occur with AGP cards belonging to the AMD Radeon HD 2xxx, HD 3xxx and HD 4xxx series. At the same time, when trying to install the Catalyst drivers, users might encounter some conflicts between Microsoft DirectX and the AGP HD cards.

Running the "hotfixed" drivers instead of the usual 12.3 Catalyst software will solve these issues and provide the users with all the benefits and enhancements of the current driver version.

Please note that the AMD Catalyst 12.3 Hotfix drivers are designed to work with AGP cards ONLY!
