VIA UniChrome?Pro Graphics Core
With an internal data flow equivalent to what is available to the latest AGP 8X graphics cards, VIA UniChrome Pro has a separate 128-bit data path between the North Bridge for pixel data flow and texture/command access. Separate 128-bit 2D and 3D graphics engines ensure optimal performance for all multimedia, entertainment, and productivity applications.
DDR2 Memory
The objective of the Intel validation program for DDR and DDR2 is to verify DDR/DDR2 SDRAM compliance to the Intel specifications for DDR/DDR2 and performance of supported DDR memory modules in Intel reference systems, so as to provide a guideline for memory compatibility with Intel chipsets. This validation will be performed by an approved test lab on a small sample of components and modules and is intended to demonstrate supplier design and manufacturing capability. The validation process uses standardized procedures and methodologies documented in the Intel Validation Procedure for DDR and DDR2. For a copy of the procedure, contact the test lab. This documented procedure is not intended to replace the normal product qualification process
USB 2.0
The current version of USB, revision 2.0, is a higher speed (480Mbs) version that is also fully compatible with USB 1.1. It provides up to 40 times the bandwidth of the old USB 1.1 and is completely backward compatible with older USB hosts. New hi-speed USB 2.0 hosts also support the older USB 1.1 devices in the same tree as the new hi-speed products
Realtek ALC655 Audio Codec
The ALC655 is a 16-bit, full-duplex AC'97 Rev. 2.3 compatible six-channel audio CODEC designed for PC multimedia systems, The ALC655 incorporates proprietary converter technology to meet performance requirements for PC99/2001 systems. The ALC655 CODEC provides three pairs of stereo outputs with 5-bit volume control, a mono output, and multiple stereo and mono inputs, along with flexible mixing, gain, and mute functions to provide a complete integrated audio solution for PCs
Realtek 8110S Gigabit LAN
The Realtek RTL8110S-32 LOM Ethernet controller combines a triple-speed IEEE 802.3 compliant Media Access Controller (MAC) with a triple-speed Ethernet transceiver, 32-bit PCI bus controller, and embedded memory. With state-of-the-art DSP technology and mixed-mode signal technology, it offers high-speed transmission over CAT 5 UTP or CAT 3 UTP (10Mbps only) cable. Functions such as Crossover Detection & Auto-Correction, polarity correction, adaptive equalization, cross-talk cancellation, echo cancellation, timing recovery, and error correction are implemented to provide robust transmission and reception capability at high speeds.
