Changes:

- Fixed an issue that prevented pairing between the camera and iOS devices running the SnapBridge app under iOS 14 and iPadOS 14.

IMPORTANT:

- This package includes two updates: one for the camera itself and the other for the GPS module. The second update will begin when you turn the camera on again after completing the first update.
- Images stored in the camera’s internal memory will be deleted when the firmware is updated. Be sure to back up images stored in the camera’s internal memory before updating the firmware. See the camera manual for instructions on copying images from internal memory to a memory card.

Viewing the Camera Firmware Version

- Turn the camera on.
- Press the camera MENU button to display the menus.
- Press the multi selector left to display menu icons, then highlight SETUP and press OK.
- Highlight Firmware version in the setup menu and press OK to display the camera firmware version.
- Check the camera firmware version.
- Turn the camera off.

Updating the Camera Firmware

- Create a folder on the computer hard disk and name it as desired.
- Download and extract the package to the folder created.
- Using a card slot or card reader, copy the “firmware” folder to a memory card that has been formatted in the camera.
- Insert the memory card into the camera and turn the camera on.
- Select Firmware version in the setup menu and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the firmware update.
- Once the update is complete, turn the camera off and remove the memory card.
- Confirm that the firmware has been updated to the new version.
