Fixes:
- Occurrence of an issue that in some rare cases prevented proper recovery of the camera, even when it was turned off and then on again, when a lens error occurred has been reduced.
Confirming the firmware version:
- Turn on the camera.
- Tap the "MENU" tab at the bottom of the monitor to display the setting controls and tap setup (setup).
- Tap "Firmware version" in the setup (setup) menu.
- The camera's firmware version will be displayed.
- Turn off the camera.
It is highly recommended to always use the most recent driver version available.
Try to set a system restore point before installing a device driver. This will help if you installed an incorrect or mismatched driver. Problems can arise when your hardware device is too old or not supported any longer.
