Firmware History

- SMC2552W-G2 zombie issue (Increase the association client number of Netgear MA401 802.11b wireless to SMC2552W-G2 from 1 to 8. The 8th MA401 will fail to associate with SMC2552W-G2 until reboot SMC2552W-G2.)

Upgrade Procedure

1. Make sure your SMC2552W-G2 is connected to your LAN, turned on and can be accessed from your PC that you would like to use for the firmware udpate.
2. Connect to the Web user interface by typing the AP's IP Address (ex: 192.168.2.2) in your browser, enter username and password to login.(default: admin/smcadmin) 
3. Click on the "Advanced" link, then click the "Administration" option. The "Firmware Upgrade" screen will appear.
4. Click the "Browse" button and point it to the location of the firmware file.
5. Next click the "Apply" button and follow the prompts. You will notice the lights on the AP will react in a certain sequence. Wait patiently while the AP reboots itself.
6. Your SMC2552W-G2 has now been successfully upgraded.
