Known Issues:

- NMS300 does not support current firmware
- SFP+ model AXM765 cannot be used for 10G stacking.  Workaround: Use other SFP+ models, such as AXM761, AXM762, AXM763, or use DAC cable AXC761/AXC763 instead.
- RPS/AC hot swap (quickly unplugging and plugging back in) sometimes does not take effect after reconnecting the APS1000W power cord. Workaround: Reconnect the APS1000W power cord slowly.
- The S3300 console can become unresponsive if the Reset button is pressed repeatedly while the firmware is reloading.  Workaround: Power cycle the switch. Important: Do NOT press the Reset button when firmware is reloading. 

Notes:

- The released zip contains switch firmware (.stk) and MIB files. Unzip the file to extract the switch image for firmware upgrade.
- Download the firmware to both an active and inactive (backup) images when upgrading from v6.4.0.x firmware.
- Clear the browser’s cache to login the switch via the web GUI after updating the firmware.

Firmware Update Instructions:

1. In the GUI select Maintenance > Download > HTTP File Download.
2. Set the File Type as Archive or Software.
3. Set the Image Name as image1.
4. Select the firmware file that’s stored in your local computer via the Browse button, then click the Apply button to start firmware downloading. The download takes several minutes. Do not power cycle the switch before. The success message shows up.
5. Repeat Steps 2-4. Set the Image Name to image2 and repeat Steps 3 and 4 to download the switch firmware to image2
6. Select Maintenance > File Management > Dual Image > Dual Image Status to double check that the current version is correctly downloaded to both image1 and image2.
7. If not, go back to Steps 3 and 4 to download the switch image again.
8. Select Maintenance > Reset > Device Reboot.
9. Set the Reboot Unit No. as All (default option); select the checkbox, and then click the Apply button.
10. After the switch restarts, double check whether the firmware is updated correctly: a. Log in the switch. b. Select GUI page System > Management > System Information. Log in the switch, select GUI page System > Management > System Information

About Router Firmware:

Before you consider downloading this firmware, go to the system information page of the router and make sure that the currently installed version isn't either newer or matching this release.
