New Features and Enhancements:

- Default password must be changed when you log in to the switch for the first time.
- To configure SNMPv3, the authentication protocol must be configured as MD5 or SHA. The None option for the authentication protocol is no longer allowed.
- Changed the default setting of the Smart Control Center (SCC) management from enabled to disabled. Note: The SCC Utility can still discover the switch.

Bug Fixes:

- Unable to set the end time of the PoE timer to mid-night (00:00).
- Cannot use SNMP MIB to disable or enable PoE power per port.
- There is no rejection or warning when adding a new ACL rule beyond the maximum number of rules that the system can handle. The new rule disappears after a system reboot.

Known Issues:

- SFP+ model AXM765 cannot be used as 10G stacking. [Workaround]: Use other SFP+ models AXM761, AXM762, AXM763 or DAC cable AXC761/AXC763 instead.
- RPS/AC hot swap sometimes (quickly unplug/plug) does not take effect after plug back APS1000W power cord. [Workaround]: re-plug the APS1000W power cord slowly.
- Console hang happens in S3300 device, if we press the reset button repeatedly during reload. [Workaround]: Power cycle the switch. Customer needs to be cautious not to press reset button multiple times during boot stage.

About Switch Firmware:

Given the large variety of models and different methods for upgrading the switch, if you wish to apply this package, we recommend that you read and understand the installation steps before you install a new firmware, even if you are a power user.

Usually the update procedure isn't much of a hassle as manufacturers try to make it as simple as possible; however, there are cases that are exceptions to this rule. First off, go to the system information page of the switch to check that the currently installed version isn't either newer or matching this release.

Applying a new firmware can decrease the security vulnerabilities, enhance overall performance and compatibility, improve various power management functions, resolve different errors, and add support for newly developed technologies and protocols.

It is recommended that you perform this step in a steady power environment such as the one ensured by a UPS unit, and that you don't interrupt the upgrade in any way, because this might cause the switch to malfunction.

That being said, click the download button, get and apply the new version, and check back with our website constantly to stay up to speed with the latest releases.
