Bug Fixes:

- Fix the problem that SIP packet containing "compact form" header could cause the device to reboot when Auto VoIP is enabled.
- Fix the issue that the device with spanning tree enabled fails to block the port connecting to another switch which has the loop.
- Fix the problem that FW can’t be upgraded by SCC (Smart Control Center) utility when the switch is using the default IP – 192.168.0.239.
- Fix the problem that DNS setting will be lost if it restored from a configuration file followed by a system reboot.
- Fix the issue that VLAN 1 or management VLAN can be selected as voice VLAN.

Known issues:

- While the link is up, port cannot be removed from a VLAN if it is also member of a LAG.  Workaround: Remove the link or remove the port from the LAG first.
- After setting the maximum number of allowed static locked MAC address to zero (under Security > Traffic Control > Port Security > Interface Configuration), no static MAC address can be added even when port security is disabled.  Workaround: Change back the "Max Allowed Statically Locked MAC" from 0 to 20.
- VLAN name cannot be changed to blank.  Workaround: This is not service affecting. If you really want to delete the VLAN name, please delete the VLAN first. Then, recreate the VLAN without assigning a VLAN name.

About Switch Firmware:

Given the large variety of models and different methods for upgrading the switch, if you wish to apply this package, we recommend that you read and understand the installation steps before you install a new firmware, even if you are a power user.

Usually the update procedure isn't much of a hassle as manufacturers try to make it as simple as possible; however, there are cases that are exceptions to this rule. First off, go to the system information page of the switch to check that the currently installed version isn't either newer or matching this release.

Applying a new firmware can decrease the security vulnerabilities, enhance overall performance and compatibility, improve various power management functions, resolve different errors, and add support for newly developed technologies and protocols.

It is recommended that you perform this step in a steady power environment such as the one ensured by a UPS unit, and that you don't interrupt the upgrade in any way, because this might cause the switch to malfunction.

That being said, click the download button, get and apply the new version, and check back with our website constantly to stay up to speed with the latest releases.
