- The software LEICA DIGITAL CAPTURE 1.0 enables you to operate your LEICA M8 or LEICA M8.2 from a computer.
- You can release the LEICA M8 shutter, set functions in the picture parameters menu and save picture data directly on to the computer.
How to use Leica Digital Capture Utility:
- To install application, double click "Leica-Digital-Capture-1.0.4.mpkg" package installer
- These installs need administration rights:
a) "MDigital.app" to "/Applications"
b) "C063003T.TTF" to "/Library/Fonts"
- Application creates folder under "~/Documents/Leica-Capture" which is default destination folder for captured images
- Application creates preferences file "~/Library/Preferences/com.leica-camera-ag.M8-Digital.plist"
- Font family "CorpoS" is provided by "Leica Camera AG"
It is highly recommended to always use the most recent driver version available.
Try to set a system restore point before installing a device driver. This will help if you installed an incorrect or mismatched driver. Problems can arise when your hardware device is too old or not supported any longer.
