Utility Description:
- The software LEICA DIGITAL CAPTURE 1.0 enables you to operate your LEICA M8 or LEICA M8.2 from a computer.
- You can release the LEICA M8 shutter, set functions in the picture parameters menu and save picture data directly on to the computer.

How to use Leica Digital Capture Utility:
- To start installation, please double click on the file ”Setup.exe“. The installation dialogue will then lead you through the set up.
- Afterwards call up the program.
- Connect the LEICA M8 to the computer using the USB cable supplied.
- Switch the camera on.
It is highly recommended to always use the most recent driver version available.
Try to set a system restore point before installing a device driver. This will help if you installed an incorrect or mismatched driver. Problems can arise when your hardware device is too old or not supported any longer.
