- For your convenience, Intel provides a generic graphics driver that can be used to enable Blu-Ray, DVD, and Intel Insider movie playback on some Intel WiDi systems.
- The generic graphics driver cannot be used on Intel WiDi-enabled systems with ATI graphics.
- Toshiba systems with Intel WiDi require a custom graphics driver to enable Blu-Ray, DVD, and Intel Insider movie playback over Intel WiDi.
It is highly recommended to always use the most recent driver version available.
Try to set a system restore point before installing a device driver. This will help if you installed an incorrect or mismatched driver. Problems can arise when your hardware device is too old or not supported any longer.
