This package creates files that contain the HPQFlash utility and a binary image of the System BIOS (ROM) for supported notebook models and operating systems. The HPQFlash utility is used to locally flash the System BIOS on PCs operating in a Microsoft Windows or Microsoft Windows Vista Operating System environment. NOTE: To determine the ROM revision and ROM date, press F10 on the target notebook during startup to run the Setup Utility, and then view File/System Information.
It is highly recommended to always use the most recent driver version available.
Try to set a system restore point before installing a device driver. This will help if you installed an incorrect or mismatched driver. Problems can arise when your hardware device is too old or not supported any longer.
