HP Client Management Interface Administrator Toolkit contains documentation, sample scripts, and applications utilizing the HP Client Management Interface WMI providers.
ENHANCEMENTS/FIXES:
- WINDOWS SCRIPT FILES: The Timer function used to introduce a delay in script was hanging in WinPE. This delay is needed to wait for WMI initialization when the script is run for the first time. Replaced the function with loop.
-PWDCONV.EXE: This utility was missing some runtime dlls on WinPE. Recompiled the executable with the run time statically linked.
It is highly recommended to always use the most recent driver version available.
Try to set a system restore point before installing a device driver. This will help if you installed an incorrect or mismatched driver. Problems can arise when your hardware device is too old or not supported any longer.
