This patch upgrades your Creative Diagnostics application from version 4.00.09 to 4.00.11. It is only applicable to Creative Sound Blaster PCMCIA Audigy 2 ZS Notebook audio cards in Microsoft Windows XP (Service Pack 2) or Windows 2000 (Service Pack 4).

Fix

* Ensures that the Creative Diagnostics window launches only in High Performance/Advanced Feature mode.

Requirements

* Microsoft Windows XP (Service Pack 2) or Windows 2000 (Service Pack 4).
* Creative Diagnostics version 4.00.09 installed.
* Creative Sound Blaster PCMCIA Audigy 2 ZS Notebook audio card installed.

Notes

* To check the version number of your Creative Diagnostics application, do the following:
1. Click Start -> Programs/All Programs -> Creative -> Creative System Information.
2. When the Creative System Information window appears, click the Creative Products tab.
3. In the left pane, click Creative Software.
4. In the left pane, click Creative Diagnostics.
5. Check that the version number of your Creative Diagnostics application is 4.00.09.
6. Close the Creative System Information window.
* To install the patch upgrade, double-click the upgrade file and follow the instructions on the screen.
