Itronix GD8200 Validity Fingerprint Driver/Utility 7.00.31 for Windows 7

This package contains the installation filles of the Itronix GD8200 Validity Fingerprint Driver & Utility. This driver enables the features and functions of the Fingerprint device.

How to extract:

- If you have previously installed an older version of the Fingerprint Software, go to Add / Remove Programs and remove the "Omnipass" and "ValiditySensors" items.
- Download the .EXE file to a directory on your hard drive.
- Execute the downloaded file and follow the on-screen instructions.

Installation Note:

- If the message, "This program might not have installed correctly" appears, click "This program installed correctly".

Driver installation notes:

- Open an administrator command window, Start->All Programs->Accessories, right click "Command Prompt" and select "Run as administrator.
- Execute the following command replacing "PATH" with the full path to the vfs201.inf file: pnputil -i -a \vfs201.inf.

Software installation notes:

- Use Windows Explorer to open the folder containing the extracted files (if folder not already open).
- After the files are unpacked, the folder containing the extracted setup files should open automatically.
- The setup program (OmniPass\Setup.exe) must be run to install the software.
