NVIDIA RTX Enterprise Production Branch Driver

Release 545 is a New Feature Branch (NFB) driver. NFB drivers provide users the flexibility to try new features made available outside the launch cycle of longer-lived Production Branch drivers.

NFB drivers are tested for workstation environments and are recommended for early adopter users who need specific features mentioned in the release highlights or release notes.

New Features in Version R545 U1:

- Improved Performance - Version R545 U1 incorporates the latest bug fixes and driver component enhancements to provide improved performance over the previous R535 driver branch (results will vary by application and system configuration).
- GPU Serial Number Retrieval – users can now easily retrieve GPU serial numbers through the NVIDIA Control Panel’s View System Topology menu (located under the Workstation features grouping). Please note that current support is for desktop GPUs only; laptop GPU support will come with a later release.
- NVIDIA RTX Video Super Resolution (VSR) Update 1.5 – the VSR feature that upscales video content viewed through Chromium-based browsers previously required Ampere generation, or later, GPU architectures. Update 1.5 now extends VSR support to include Turing generation GPUs.
- NVIDIA-powered AI further enhances visuals on video played at native resolution, improving overall visual quality and detail preservation.
- VSR option will be listed in NVIDIA Control Panel (located under the Video features grouping) running on Turing generation, or later, GPU architectures.
- Updated Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge browsers will only support VSR when preferred graphics is NVIDIA processor.
