This is R9.0 Alpha, the first public preview of DisplayLink driver release 9.0. It has undergone very limited system test and is only suitable for alpha testing, to evaluate the software.

DisplayLink software release 9.0 will deliver the following features:

- DL-69xx: Windows 10 alternate encoder with Intel 4th Generation GPU and newer for CPU usage reduction
- DL-3xxx, DL-5xxx: night mode/f.lux/gamma LUT for monitor calibration on HDMI and DisplayPort ASIC output on Windows 10
- DL-6xxx: night mode/f.lux/gamma LUT for monitor calibration on DisplayPort output on Windows 10
- Bug fixes

Issues fixed in 9.0 Alpha release (9.0.1040)

- Monitors connected to DisplayLink device might remain blank after resuming from S3 on Windows 10 Insider Preview 17746 onwards when gamma correction preview was enabled. (28636)
- Gamma related issues with colors in Windows 10 with preview enabled (26402)
- Windows 10 could show messages during OS upgrades that DisplayLink driver was not supported and removed if DisplayLinkUI.exe was deployed. (27428)

To install this package please do the following:

- Make sure that all system requirements are met.
- Save the downloadable package on an accessible location (such as your desktop).
- Locate and double-click on the newly-downloaded file.

- Follow the on-screen instructions.
