HP Compaq 6530b Notebook Button Board Firmware F.18
Date: Jul 18, 2011
Manufacturer: Others
Fixes:
- Fixes an issue where the volume slider does not move when trying to use it to increase or decrease volume.
- Fixes an issue where the Information button (the key labeled as "I" above the regular keyboard keys) is stuck, causing the Information (Info) Center to launch when any button is pressed.
- Fixes an issue where the volume slider and Mute button were incorrectly activated by applying pressure around the volume slider area of the keyboard, but without actually touching the slider or the Mute button. This behavior has been improved so that most accidental activations have been eliminated.

It is highly recommended to always use the most recent driver version available.
Try to set a system restore point before installing a device driver. This will help if you installed an incorrect or mismatched driver. Problems can arise when your hardware device is too old or not supported any longer.
